Bedrock Flow Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Made by Bedrock ([company legal name], [registered address]) for using the Bedrock Flow app and your Bedrock Flow account. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Bedrock Flow.

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we handle and why.

2. Your account

• You need to be at least [16] to create an account.
• Give a real email address you can access. We use it to confirm your account and to help you reset your password.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens with your account. If you think someone else has access, change your password straight away and tell us at [email protected].
• One person per account.

3. Using Bedrock Flow

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to install and use Bedrock Flow on your own devices, as long as you follow these terms.

Please do not:

• Copy, resell, or redistribute the app, or try to take it apart to get its source code, except where the law allows it.
• Try to get around its security, overload our servers, or access other people's accounts.
• Use Bedrock Flow to break the law, or to record people who have not agreed to it where their consent is required.

4. Your content

Your dictations are yours. They are created and kept on your own computer, and we do not receive them. You are responsible for what you dictate and where you paste it.

5. AI features and accuracy

Bedrock Flow uses AI models to turn speech into text and, if you switch it on, to tidy that text. These models can make mistakes: wrong words, missed words, or changed meaning. Check anything important before you send or rely on it, especially for medical, legal, financial or safety matters.

6. Third-party components

Bedrock Flow includes and downloads open-source software and models made by others, such as whisper.cpp, llama.cpp, and S1-mini by Superwhisper. Each comes with its own licence, listed in the app. Those licences apply to those parts.

7. Payments

Bedrock Flow has a free plan and a paid plan, Pro, billed monthly or yearly. Prices are shown on madebybedrock.com/flow and at checkout.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's own terms apply to the payment itself.

Pro renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

The free 7-day Pro trial is available once per account and once per computer. We may change prices for future periods; if we do, we will tell you before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

8. Changes and availability

We keep improving Bedrock Flow and may add, change, or remove features. We try to keep the account service available but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Dictation itself works offline and does not depend on our servers once you are signed in.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect, and ask you to agree to the new version in the app before you carry on using your account.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, Delete account).

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if the law requires it. Unless it is urgent or unlawful to do so, we will tell you why first.

10. No warranty

Bedrock Flow is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free or suit a particular purpose. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

11. Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost data, or for losses caused by mistakes in transcriptions. [Total liability cap, for example: the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.] This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited.

12. Governing law
